Abstract
The City's Pulse was a public audio-visual installation featuring six tracks. It was displayed on the Yagan Square Tower and showcased still photographs and time-lapses of Perth City combined with human portraits. The installation's audio incorporated both electronic and acoustic elements produced through improvisation to create different tracks. Some tracks were based on drum beats while others utilized electronic sounds.
