Abstract
The Oracle Of Uncertainty Tarot is a new take on the classic Tarot deck. While it uses the classic deck as a base, there are several innovations: Several cards have been added or subtracted to make the archetypal meaning of the deck easier to understand.
There have not been any major innovations in the Tarot since the Smith-Waite deck over a century ago. I’m hoping this idea catches on as I feel it is a better system. The artwork is designed to be as simple as possible to make the meaning behind it as clear for a modern audience to understand. The faces of the people on the illustrations have been left blank for them to be able to represent anyone that picks up the deck (within reason).
