Abstract
We set out to make a 7-9 minute thriller short film, exploring how not being present in the moment can cause you to miss things. As a crew, we workshopped this idea with 11 script versions, several meetings, and discussions with our actors. The main issues we encountered in pre-production were keeping the script under 10 pages, losing an actor due to health concerns, and locking in a location. In post-production we could not get the film under 10 minutes, however we had great success with meeting deadlines and post-audio. Overall, the production was successful in delivering what it needed. - Creator.
