Abstract
Brothers, River and ollie fight off a snake from behind white sheets on a clothesline. River, the eldest, confident and smart-mouthed attacks the snake with an axe. Ollie, innocent and happy-go-lucky watches on.
The boys manage to cut the snakes head off before being banished to the beach by their angry mum. At the beach, the boys cross paths with a man who, to them, appears very out of place. Despite being spooked, River and Ollie continue to play at the beach, but as they leave, River sprains his ankle and is set upon by the man at the beach.
The man initially appears to help River with his injury before letting him leave, but as soon as River gets closer to home and the sun begins to set, his vison blurs and he eventually passes out in shrubbery. The man appears once again and carries River off into darkness.
