Abstract
I'm Here is the debut release from electronic artist: On The Verge. A self-produced and self-engineered four track EP. On The Verge is a psychedelic trance project from Melbourne based producer Virgil Wright. Blending tribal rhythms, rolling bass lines and foot stomping beats designed to get you up and moving on the dance floor. The project was inspired by summer electronic festivals held in the Australian bush. The first two tracks 'I'm Here' and 'Traveller' draw from the classic psychedelic trance sound. The kick and bass drive these tracks, with rhythmic melodies to keep you moving. 'Slow Burn' is a hypnotic track in the style of progressive trance. Using polyrhythmic melodies to take your mind on a journey of meditation. Saving the best for last; 'Divine Birds' is a tribalistic thumper, evoking images of the forest and ancient cultures. All tracks were made to make you simply want to dance. Best consumed loud in nature with all your wonderful friends.
