Abstract
The Ra Ra Viper album is a 7-track compilation written and performed by local Perth five piece band ‘Ra Ra Viper’. The album features songs written over the past year and it revolves around the genres of surf and garage rock whilst evoking meaningful and at times novelty themes through the use of lyrics.
The band acknowledges influences such as Hockey Dad, Courtney Barnett, Noah Dillon and The Dandy Warhol’s in their songwriting and musical compositions.
Accompanying the music tracks of the album, is a promotional video documenting the recording process, including a live gig and interview with patrons.
