Abstract
The Last Day follows 17-year-old Lucas (an aspiring musician) and his best friend Brandon during a couple of brief moments on their day of school. Lucas wants to pursue a music career, but due to his mother’ apprehension, he wrestles with embracing his vision for the future. When Brandon reveals he is moving away, the two friends experience a moment of conflict. As a result of this confrontation, it leads Lucas to evaluate his own future, all the while school comes to a close and these two friends have to say goodbye.
