Abstract
Meritorious is a concept album carried out by Brook Wakeham-Hastie and Roseta Cork. This album consists of jangle pop elements, and our theme aims to highlight the gender gap in the music/recording industry, and to empower other females to pursue their dream career within this male-dominated industry.
To enhance the motive of our story, we’ve engaged with female audio professionals through an anonymous survey, which collected data to gain an insight of what women experience and thus has helped develop the narrative of our project.
