About SAE What?
SAE What? Student Magazine is a student‑led magazine created by students at SAE University College. Written, edited and designed by students, the magazine provides a platform for sharing ideas, experiences and creative work from across SAE’s creative media and tech focused disciplines.
Purpose and Scope
The magazine explores the lived experience of studying film, animation, games, design, audio, music, VFX and computer science. Content reflects student interests and perspectives, and includes creative work, critical writing, interviews, reviews and opinion pieces relevant to the SAE community.
Contributors
Contributions are made by current SAE University College students and alumni. The magazine showcases both individual and collaborative work, highlighting the diversity of creative practice and thinking within the SAE student body.
Editorial Approach
SAE What? Student Magazine is student‑driven in both content and direction. Students are responsible for shaping the editorial voice of the magazine, with support and guidance provided by SAE faculty.
Audience
The primary audience for the magazine is the SAE student community; however, it is also intended for prospective students, alumni and industry audiences interested in student perspectives and emerging creative practice.
