Abstract

This is a musical EP recorded live in one take of 12 songs that have been previously recorded and released (apart from 2 newer tracks) that form part of the band's current live set. The EP re-contextualises these songs for a 2-piece band format, consisting of Drums, Bass Guitar and Vocals. The particular focus of this recording was not the compositional aspects, but the re-arrangement of performance of the pieces and the capture of the live presentation. Recordings were all live, restricted to 7 tracks with minimal mixing and mastering for release - accompanied with a YouTube Video of the performance in the rehearsal space.
