Mission and Vision
To showcase and celebrate the creative practice and inquiry across all disciplines in SAE University College’s vibrant postgraduate and staff community, and create an ongoing dialogue featuring a wide range of artistic and scholarly insights, in papers ranging from short creative works with contextual statements, up to 5000-word academic articles.
SAE’s inaugural staff and postgraduate journal will invite and welcome:
- From Staff
- Research or reflective articles (up to 5,000 words)
- Creative work or documentation of ongoing practice
- Insights into teaching, curriculum or pedagogy
- Individual or collaborative work
- Staff submissions count towards scholarship allocation: for creative works, please include an artist's statement or brief reflection on practice
- From Students
- Short papers (up to 5,000 words)
- Project summaries or insights
- Creative work (film, music, audio, design, games, animation, writing)
- Reflective pieces on process or practice
- Individual or collaborative work
Once submitted, papers and creative works will be peer-reviewed. A process of collaborative action research underpinned by industry standard and academic excellence will guide the author / creator towards publication. In this way, postgraduate students and staff will combine to form a supportive community of creative practitioners.
