Abstract
Beyond Horizon is a 2D side-scroller game focusing on story and exploration both on land and within the stars. Explore dungeons, towns or fight space pirates with your ship, while uncovering the lore and the secrets behind the Sigma and the original race. All of this is just Beyond the horizon.
Aito’s grandfather had to leave to deal with some concerns. Years later with no sign of return, Aito decided to save up everything he has to buy a spaceship and go after his grandfather.
One day on a mission to recover missing cargo, Aito encounters a stone laying beneath the cargo supply. He touches the stone absorbing it into his body, giving Aito powers along with a map to 7 location within the stars. Awakening the stone alerts a dark force to the location.
Now to save his town the only option is to flee. Escaping with Hiroki and their friends in a stolen ship, they attempt to lure the Sigma away. Now the only option, to run. Following a map to each location in the hopes to stop this dark force killing the syste
