Abstract
Guts is a skilled swordsman who joins forces with a mercenary group called 'The Band of the Hawk', lead by the charismatic Griffith, and fights with them as they battle their way into the royal court. Forever haunted by his past and the unimaginable horrors, he survives in the world not knowing what is beyond the darkness.
The dark and gritty gothic visuals presented in Berserk is something that I will to show-off and improve upon will be presented in a title sequence (serving as the shows opening or “OP” for short).
Design principles such as negative space, contrast of light, use of colours, and use of detail in illustrations will be the main designs used in the title sequence. Colours and shades of red, grey, black will be the main palet. All of this will reinforce the shows themes and the tone seen on screen. - Creator.
