Abstract
My Lantern is a guest user based app, created for public use by Lantern Tea Room, a small business in Ballina, NSW. The app is designed to make interaction and information easier to access for the clients existing tribe of elderly guests, as well as attract a new target audience of younger users, who are more inclined to use their devices to make bookings, rather than traditional means of phone bookings. The app is minimal in design, and aimed at allowing users multiple paths to find what they are looking for, including features such as booking requests, menu browsing, and contact options.
