Abstract
Actualizer is both an Album By Angus Price/Munnin as well as a 360 audio/video experience by Angus Price and Elijah Bik based off the title track of the album.
The genre of music is an original take on the Progressive Trance style, and both it and the accompanying visuals take influence and aspire to inspire a somewhat trance like and in the case of the Audio Visual package synesthetic state in the listener. The piece takes inspiration from Visionary and Psychedelic art, The psytrance culture at large, the aesthetic of failure in digital culture (glitch) and the pioneering VR work of the 80s.
There are parts of the album designed to disorientate the listener (percussive parts purposely out of time). It can be listened to either actively or passively, and the listener is encouraged to be aware of any changes in mood or consciousness bought on by the piece.
