Abstract
THIS GAME WAS MADE TO BE PLAYED. TRY IT BEFORE YOU WATCH IT.
NOTE: The prompt at the typewriter is to type the word using a keyboard.
BUG NOTE: Do not walk backwards when you load into the CAVE scene as this will trigger the alternate ending but without playing the intended audio clip.
The Grattenweld Incident is a Lovecraftian horror story set in 1920’s Ohio. You play as Silas Morgan, stumbling upon a secret hidden near the home of his deceased father. We see the story unfold through the eyes of Silas as he explores an ancient cave, embarks on a fevered research mission and treks across the country to uncover the ancient secrets that scratch at the walls of his mind and memory.
This fully narrated mystery is the result of 13 weeks of hard work and a great deal of research, including the beautifully rendered Public Library of Cincinnati, demolished in 1955, among other details and references.
Come take a look.
