Abstract
Our project is presented as a mixed methods research report that seeks to answer our driving question through Practice-Led Research (PLR). PLR is a research methodology where the creative process forms the central component of the overall study. This can be used as a form of research as the researcher documents the progression of ideas and workflows. Our project consists of a series of preliminary interviews with industry professionals and 3 ‘industry-specific approach’ research studies. The interviews serve as ethnographic research as we record and reflect on the experiences of individuals who have pursued creative careers. Once the research has been completed, a thematic analysis is presented to identify any comparisons in our findings from which we can draw advisory conclusions. In order to present our findings in a more digestible format.
