Abstract
Spin The Knight documents the making of an indie game that reimagines a stigmatised character as a brave knight. Following creator Saif Almheiri & Maleeha Ahmed through design challenges, narrative development, and playtesting, the film reveals the creative decisions that shaped the game’s world and message. Blending documentary realism with the game’s vibrant aesthetic, the film celebrates the idea that heroism can come from unexpected places — and that games can serve as meaningful platforms for storytelling and representation.
