Abstract
Meet Me Somewhere Nice is a four-track indie folk EP written, recorded and produced by Stella Ramage. The project explores themes of emotional stillness, love and navigating life's transitions using intimate songwriting and raw production techniques to create a sense of closeness and reflection.
The EP is primarily guitar-led, with a focus on expressive vocals and minimal arrangements that allow space and vulnerability to remain central. Subtle textures and ambient elements are used sparingly to support the emotional tone without distracting from the lyrics.
This work was developed as a major project to investigate indie folk production techniques, emotional storytelling through sound, and the relationship between songwriting, arrangement and listener intimacy.
