Abstract
SCREEN SELECT is a collection of ethereal, video game-like, energetic tracks. It draws heavily on the sound and spirit of the PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, and N64 eras and games that we all know and love. With each track representing a different musical and visual aesthetic prominent in late 90s/early 00s video games. The sound relies on iconic and dated 90s sample CDs, and synths derived from the iconic ROMplers of the time.
