Abstract
When a bright-eyed painter chases his ambition to Paris, he is unable to make himself known in the sea of artistic prestige and innovation. In his dejected state, he meets a Moulin Rouge dancer who performs night after night, earning enough to keep her away from her past. They must learn to raise one another from their lowest moments, or risk losing themselves in the changing cultural tide.
