Abstract
Against the backdrop of a small rural town, Felicity is struggling to live the life her family has built for her. Meanwhile, Antonio, a soldier in the barracks of a Vietnam War training camp, spends his days in isolation, running from the ghosts of his past.
Their lives take a drastic turn when Antonio gets shot and finds himself transported to the present. The two help each other make needed changes in their lives such as breaking free from her obligatory partner.
As these changes unfold, and to her detriment, Felicity’s family relive the traumas from their own past.
After consistent push-back, Felicity and Antonio realise their place in the world and must come to terms with everything they must lose to be free including each other.
