Abstract
Project ‘Relicta' is a one-minute 3D cinematic that follows the ruins of an ancient city once devoted to the Roman god Apollo. With no dialogue or narration, our project uses environment, composition and atmosphere to showcase a story of ambition, hubris and collapse.
Our objective was to create a one minute 3D environmental cinematic that communicates the consequences of hubris through environmental storytelling alone, while developing our modeling, sculpting and texturing skills to a portfolio ready standard.
