Abstract
925 Live Session: Episode 1 is the first live session in an ongoing live session series created by the 925 Creative Team, a Melbourne-based collective. The project chronicles emerging artist Andy Lam's intimate performance, using live audio recording, multi-camera cinematography, lighting design, and post-production to create a performance video for online audiences.
The project intends to give budding musicians with quality, artist centered visual content while also creating a recognisable platform for local music discovery. Its visual approach emphasises an authentic studio environment, tight performance footage, and behind-the-scenes narrative, allowing viewers to witness both the final performance and the collaborative creation process. The release is accompanied by a social media campaign that includes teaser content, a consistent 925 Creative Team visual identity, and a behind-the-scenes carousel that credits the artist and production team.
The first episode of 925 Live Session creates the production and branding structure for future sessions with Melbourne artists. It showcases how a small creative team can leverage live performance content to promote artists, engage audiences, and foster collaboration in the local music community.
