Abstract
Loosely based on the final chapter of the book, Frankenstein; Or, The Modern Prometheus, by Mary Shelley, Perpetual Night is a black and white psychological horror short film exploring the nature of lost justice, hatred, and accountability through the black and white perspectives of the main characters, Adam and Viktor. Through a stark, chiaroscuro visual style and a vivid, thematic narrative, the film explores how the sense of justice driven by hate can ultimately bring the wronged past the point of no return, perpetuating a cycle of hate, refusing to take accountability for the damage done as a result.
