A Letter from the Team
The Creative Journey
Welcome to SAE What?, a publication born from collaboration, boundless creativity, and the shared journey of students across Australia. This issue is not just a magazine; it is a vibrant record of the collective growth, challenges, and triumphs experienced by our diverse student body.
The overarching theme, The Creative Journey, guided every contribution on these pages. As you turn them, you will see this theme articulated through the lens of growth: the moment a concept clicks, a skill is mastered, or a new discipline is explored. You’ll read about the inevitable challenges that test resolve, and the crucial decisions—both internal and external—that shape a project or creative piece into its final form.
What makes SAE What? truly unique is its emphasis on collaboration and the merging of creative minds. This magazine is a testament to the cross‑disciplinary potential within our campuses and the value of working together across creative fields.
The Pages Within
Within these pages, you will find a diverse mix of articles that explore inspiring projects, creative writing, and striking student artwork. Each contribution offers a personal voice connected to the themes of growth, experimentation, and creative discovery.
From the initial brainstorming sessions held by student teams, through the establishment of creative processes, to the final stages of design and article submission, this publication is entirely student‑driven. Every word, image, and layout choice represents an active learning experience for students across all of our Australian campuses.
