Abstract
Wandering Spirit is a techno and dub techno EP that includes Track 1: Wandering Spirit and Track 2: Inner Lining. Z-XCIII (a.k.a. Zubin Aroz) wrote, performed, and arranged both tracks. The EP is the result of an informal genre study and composition exercise exploring Dub Techno’s sonic aesthetics, themes of repetitiveness, echo and spring reverb, noise and ambience, as well as hardware synth workflow. Wandering Spirit (EP) was first released on Bandcamp and SoundCloud on 28 August 2026, and subsequently on all streaming platforms on 26 September 2026.
