Abstract

This project highlights the significance of community in fostering respect and understanding for historic sites, stories, and cultures. This Sound Walk experience aims to capture the essence of the original Adelaide Gaol through a combination of field recordings, narration, and sound design. The narration provides both informative and thought-provoking insights, focusing on the story of Elizabeth Woolcock, the only woman in South Australia to be executed, and her controversial imprisonment.
