Abstract
WWII. Occupied Holland. The Dutch people have been living on rations and with fear of reprisals from the Nazi Government.
Some, under threat of torture and death, defied the regime and assisted in the escape and concealment of Jewish people and POWs or openly committed violent acts against the Nazi’s.
Others, to protect themselves and their families, joined the National Police, a fully Dutch Police force under the thumb of the oppressor’s.
