Abstract

The Ascent To Chimera:

An ageing geologist recounts the mysterious events of a journey undertaken many years ago, shortly before the sudden collapse of the Empire, on which he accompanied two state-affiliated intellectuals to a sinister ancient site on a remote plateau.
