Abstract
Futuristic cityscapes are built on the backbone of industrial zones. Inspired by technological processes and industrial architecture, Mechatopia displays the rawness of industrialisation and urban areas with futuristic shapes.
Holly, Emilie and Deykkon are the creators of Faces X Spaces, a project that is centred around type design; the creative process, it’s power, it’s influential place in society and it’s vital role in creative projects.
It is an exploration into various ‘spaces’ via type design as we have designed a collection of custom, decorative typefaces, each with inspiration and characteristics from entirely different worlds, genres and time periods.
We hope that our creative vision has come to life, and each chapter immerses you into the world that the respective typeface is intended for. (Creators EBook).
