Abstract
Inherited Violence is a 3D/2D hybrid short set in a sci-fi/western frontier where ones past can be easily hidden. Ash, a young women with a bionic arm and a buried past, uncovers a single hidden memory that shatters everything she thought she knew about the man who raised her. What follows is a brutal confrontation years in the making - and a choice about what she's willing to become. Blending stylised 2D characters with cinematic 3D Environments, the film asks a quiet, unsettling question: When violence is all you've inherited, can you still refuse it?
