Abstract
Fungi networks play a crucial role in our ecosystems, but there is currently a lack of awareness and action around their conservation. Our children’s animation Fungi’s Underground Wood Wide Web addresses this wicked problem by exposing and educating children in their media outlets with a short and simple narrative that highlights the unseen and undervalued role of fungi networks, creating a meaningful experience in the hopes that emerging generations will incorporate this urgent problem into their solutions.
